MODCA: TRANSFER OF PHYSICAL THEORY APPLIED TO RUBBER SUSPENSIONS

The MODCA project is part of the Basque government program BASQUE INDUSTRY 4.0. This project has led to a technology based on predictive models to determine the damage caused in fatigue tests and its accelerated testing for competitive application in the approval of conical primary rubber/metal suspensions.
Among the benefits that the development of the described technology will bring are: reduction of the environmental impact as well as a reduction in the train's energy consumption due to more intelligent energy management and the development of onboard energy accumulation systems.
The project has received funding from the Basque Government and the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund 2021-2027 (FEDER)
